CLASSIC ITALIAN CIABATTA

You are welcome to learn how to bring a little taste of Italy right into your home. Our 4 hour workshop will help you to make this popular light bread with uneven crumb that you can enjoy with your salads or million varieties of bruschetta . This workshop, given by Rise Up Bakery master baker Jim Haas, will be a good source of knowledge for both new and experienced home bakers.

What will you learn and do during the baking workshop:
– Pre-fermented dough, main benefits
– Baker’s math
– Types of preferment
– accessories for home baking ciabatta
– Making a dough,
– Forming wet dough technique
– Baking ciabatta in the wood fired oven
– Storing your bread

All the ingredients are provided by the bakery.
Everyone will make their 2 loaves of ciabatta to take home.

– Notepad and a pen to make notes
